Inn at Green River banner Welcome to the Inn at Green River Bed & Breakfast, an 1830 Federal-style farmhouse with seven well-appointed guest rooms, offering a hearty breakfast daily

Martin Van Buren

  • attic room with large window, bed, two armchairs, ceiling fan
  • twin bed, small bookcase, armchair
  • fireplace flanked by two armchairs, dresser in background, tea with snacks in foreground
  • wooded area in foreground, lawn in distance with two Adirondack chairs

This room showcases a 16 foot cathedral ceiling with windows on three sides, king and twin beds, A/C, gas fireplace, bathroom with two sinks, shower, and large soaking tub. There is a $45 additional charge for a third person.

Through the large, south facing windows, guests enjoy the pastoral view of an old apple orchard, the herb and cutting garden, meadows, and an ancient abandoned cemetery. Situated on the second floor in the back wing, it feels especially private.

There are two beds, a king with a feather bed, and a twin. The large bathroom features two sinks, a shower and a 5 1/2-foot soaking tub.

The parterre design of the garden is clearly visible from the Van Buren room, but just as pretty shown here at ground level with the old apple trees as a back drop.
