A Select Registry™ Bed and Breakfast
Guests return year after year, drawn by the Inn’s casual elegance. Shaded by ancient sugar maples and overlooking extensive lawns and gardens, this beautiful, tranquil setting is where the Cranse Creek flows into the Green River. Now step inside. You’ll find that the Inn’s beautiful interiors feature family antiques, paintings, prints and sculpture, and, of course, Wi-Fi. Innkeeper Deborah Bowen offers warm hospitality and, most notably, scrumptious breakfasts. (The New York Times describes them as “feasts.”)
The Traveler’s Guide to the Hudson River Valley says, “The setting near the Green River is sylvan and relaxing…”
Equally important, the Inn at Green River is a great starting point for a variety of activities and events. These include not only Tanglewood (summer home of the Boston Symphony) but also theaters, museums, antique shops, and art galleries. In addition, historic sites such as the Norman Rockwell Museum, Hancock Shaker Village, MASS MoCA, Olana, Naumkeag, Clermont State Historic Site, Berkshire Theater Group, Barrington Stage, and Jacob’s Pillow are nearby. About the Innkeeper
Deborah Bowen is the owner and Innkeeper of the Inn at Green River. She moved to Hillsdale in Columbia County in 1988, after a career in the textile business. “In addition to my art history background, my love of the visual is reflected in the furnishings and gardens at the Inn. Because I love meeting new people and sharing my passion for the area, I love being an innkeeper and look forward to your visit.”
