The Tanglewood season has been wonderful and I have taken full advantage. I attended opening night, saw Yo Yo Ma twice, fit in several mid week concerts at Ozawa Hall, and a few Sunday afternoon concerts…my favorite time. I will be there this upcoming Sunday for the final concert by the BSO this summer, which as always, features Beethoven’s 9th! But even though the BSO heads home to Boston next week, there is still more great music. The Popular Artists Series bring Gladys Knight on Wednesday, August 28, Squeeze on the 29th, Pat Benatar and Melissa Etheridge on the 30th, and closes over Labor Day weekend with Reba McEntire. We still have rooms available over the Labor Day holiday, so book a room and enjoy the end of summer in the Berkshires.
If you get to Tanglewood, be sure to walk across the lawn from Ozawa Hall to see the spectacular new Linde Center for Music and Learning. Check out my Facebook page for photos and videos of this wonderful new building which has just officially opened.
Please “like” and follow the Inn on Facebook to see what fun and interesting things are happening here in Columbia County and the Berkshires that might lure you back soon for another visit!
We’re starting to think of this place as our country house — thanks for the hospitality and delish breakfast!
Thank you for another wonderful year! We were so happy to spend our honeymoon here!
