View other rooms: The Merrill Room
The pale hues in this large ground floor room in the new west wing provide a serene backdrop to several works by artist Gail Giles - the charcoal triptych of Hudson River views and an oil seascape. French doors open out onto your own small, sunken terrace. Inconspicuous white grab bars in the whirlpool tub are all that signal that this is the handicapped-accessible room. The sink, a marble antique found at a salvage shop in Hudson, meets the ADA codes.
