View other rooms: The Martin Van Buren Room
A very special room: a 16 ft. cathedral ceiling, gas fireplace, and large windows with a pastoral view of an old apple orchard, the herb and cutting garden, meadows, and an ancient abandoned cemetery. Situated on the second floor in the back wing, it feels especially private.
There are two beds, a king and a twin. The large bathroom features two sinks, a shower and a 5 1/2-foot soaking tub.
The parterre design of the garden is clearly visible from the Van Buren room, but just as pretty shown here at ground level with the old apple trees as a back drop.
